The San Diego Research Ethics Consortium (SDREC) is a
multi-institution core resource formed by some of the leading
biomedical research institutions in Southern California to support
the ethical conduct of science in stem cell and other research programs.

The members are:
Burnham Institute for Medical Research,
Salk Institute for Biological Studies,
Scripps Health,
The Scripps Research Institute,
UC Irvine,
and UC San Diego.

Mission: To foster an environment of integrity and responsibility in the conduct
of research by increasing awareness, discussion, and understanding
of the ethical dimensions of research.
